Hi! My name is Mrs. Carney. I teach fourth grade at Malletts Bay School. I live in Colchester, with my husband, Brennan, my sons, Cooper and Boden, and our dog, Peyton. I am a very active person and love to be outside. I like biking, going to the beach, walking my dog, snowboarding, boating on Lake Champlain, spending time with family, shopping, and cheering on my favorite sports teams! One of my favorite things to do though, is play hockey! While I was studying to become a teacher at the University of Vermont, I was able to play on their Women’s Ice Hockey team. It was so much fun! Now that I am done playing on a team, I love to coach kids like you!
My husband is also a teacher. He teaches at Burlington High School and coaches the school’s Football team. I spend most of my fall evenings watching lots of football games! When I’m not busy chasing my boys, playing outside, or at a sporting event, I love to curl up on the couch with a good book!

Mrs. Carney and Mrs. Quinn are incredibly hard-working, dedicated, passionate, and caring teachers. I view them as role models for what I hope to be in the future. I enjoy spending time with Mrs. Carney, Mrs. Quinn, and their awesome 4th grade class every Thursday morning. I hope I am able to stay in contact with Mrs. Carney and Mrs. Quinn after my time in their classroom ends.
